About the role

The Stand up/High Reach - Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in the Operations Department under the supervision of the General Manager. This position requires flexibility, reliability, and a willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supports the business goals by working the hours needed, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Remains punctual and prepared for work, completing tasks in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner.
• Maintains a positive attitude and follows company values.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and department meetings, displays pride in work area, and maintains daily housekeeping.
• Ensures high quality of work, adhering to deadlines and following OHIO principle.
• Fulfills all written and verbal instructions provided by management.
• Shares all relevant information professionally and ensures the best decisions are made for the company.
• Completes all necessary paperwork accurately and reports all product damage and discrepancies.
• Adapts to changing job tasks and seeks additional work when required.
• Works in a non-climate controlled environment and follows safety and security policies.
• Meets established productivity standards and understands the stocking strategy of the operations building.
• Follows standard operating procedures and customer work instructions.
• Reports all equipment malfunctions and unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Knowledgeable about multiple accounts and job functions within the given operation.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
• Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to twist, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level.
