Stamping Operator

Responsibilities

• Follow all established safety, health and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices
• Assemble, install, and align dies in press according to specifications
• Position work piece against fixtures or stops on machine bed or on die
• Start press and observe operation to detect misalignment or malfunction
• Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications and adjust machine to correct errors; isolate non-conforming product
• Clean and lubricate machines
• Position and clamp feed guide
• Thread metal strip from payout reel through pinch rollers or load hopper or conveyor with metal blanks
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment at all times
• Label, scan, and move product per specifications
• Complete all paperwork as required
• Participate in team activities as required (such as Audits, Corrective Actions, 5s)
• Maintain good housekeeping standards
• Contribute to team effort by focusing on continuous improvement and success for the entire team
• All other duties as assigned by manager
