Join our team at Molex in Lincoln, Nebraska as a Stamping Die Design Intern, supporting the Die design group by designing tooling and creating drawings for dies and other production equipment.

Responsibilities
- Partner with engineers to improve tooling designs and manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with process engineers and toolmakers to develop innovative tooling solutions
- Participate in tooling design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain tooling models, drawings, and technical documentation
- Design quality control fixtures and gauges alongside Quality team members
- Lead and support projects involving manufacturing support equipment
- Take ownership of projects while developing problem-solving and technical skills
- Work in a hands-on manufacturing environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, Tool & Die, Mechanical Design, or related technical degree program
- Experience using CAD software through coursework, internships, co-op assignments, personal projects, or a production environment
- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
Qualifications
- Mechanical, tooling, general maintenance, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment, machine tools, or tooling projects
- Exposure to tooling design, drafting, machining, or fabrication through coursework, internships, clubs, or work experience
- Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment
Pay
Compensation is determined by available market data, considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the estimated range.
