About the role

Loenbro is a trusted construction lifecycle partner offering services such as Critical Electrical, Mechanical & Structural, Soft Crafts, Inspection, Underground Maintenance and Installation, and Fabrication. This position involves working on a long-term stainless prefab piping project.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train welder helpers.
  • Examine/inspect working conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies, and cost-saving measures.
  • Take corrective actions as needed.
  • Choose filler metals and construction materials to complete assignments.
  • Produce quality work, meeting requirements of plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Be motivated and work productively and safely.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of welding experience required.
  • Prior welding experience in the construction, mining or related industry preferred.
  • A two-year vocational-technical degree in welding is preferred.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Completing a welding qualification is a requirement.
  • Orbital welding training will be provided but prior orbital welding experience is a plus.
  • Must meet all state license requirements.

  • Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
  • Must be able to work as a team and solve problems.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.
  • Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment.
  • Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
  • Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.
  • Exposure to areas with limited visibility.
