Staging Technician

The Staging Technician is responsible for performing the receiving, racking and stacking process and the shipping of a variety of data equipment. The Staging Technician works directly with Engineers, Project Managers, and Program Managers on projects that require staging, racking, stacking, and possible pre-configuration before shipping to a customer's site.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and Associate’s Degree (AA) in related field Preferred
  • Two or more years of hands-on experience in job-related role
  • Preferred Knowledge of computers and basic computer functions
  • Exhibits the ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Willingness and ability to work a full 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday excluding NWN recognized Holidays with possible overtime
  • Must be able to maintain poise and professionalism under stress
  • (Preferred) Knowledge of computers and basic computer functions
  • (Preferred) Exhibits the ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions
  • (Preferred) Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, and time management skills
  • (Preferred) Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • (Preferred) Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Engineers, Project Managers, Program Managers, department managers, senior leadership, and peers
  • (Preferred) Ability to follow written and oral procedures
  • (Preferred) Ability to read, write and understand and speak English effectively
  • (Preferred) Organizational skills
  • (Preferred) Obtain an industry/partner technical entry-level certification (Network or CCNA)
