Stagehand, Part-Time

About the role

The Buddy Holly Hall production department seeks a Stagehand to support the team by providing technical theater knowledge, ensuring a safe work environment, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Utilize professional interactions and effective communication to develop positive productive relationships with artists, clients, and their staff.
• Communicate crew issues with the Production Manager and BHH Management to address them promptly.
• Inform the Production Manager of any issues or opportunities related to maintaining a safe and functional working environment and provide documentation based on cost, necessity, and timeliness.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of and skilled in technical theater, with experience in lighting, carpentry, rigging, sound, and properties.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Accurately clock in and out for each shift.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs, walk, stand, climb, work at heights up to 100 feet, and load/unload trucks.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work effectively and positively with others.

Pay
