Summary
VenuWorks of Jefferson City Missouri is seeking dedicated and energetic Part-Time Stagehands to join their event operations team. This role is crucial for the seamless execution of various events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs the load-in, changeover/show-call, and load-out of band and rental equipment.
- Utilizes proper safety protocols for all aspects of concert production, including rigging and loading.
- Assists audio, lighting, and video crew members with equipment placement, builds, and cabling.
- Responsible for hanging show backdrops, building stage risers, and barricade placement.
- Performs routine maintenance on stage, audio, lighting, barricade, and rigging equipment as needed.
- Maintains curtains, drapes, risers, and other staging items.
- Assists audio crew with stands, microphones, cables, etc.
- Assists lighting crew with fixtures, lamps, cabling, ladders, etc.
- Assists Special Effects crew with any necessary operational needs.
- Assists with any Special Events operations.
- Sets up and operates spotlights if necessary.

Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to maintain a calm, composed presence in an often fast-paced environment where multiple tasks, events, and stimuli may occur simultaneously.
