THE JOB The Stage Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing all on-stage and loading dock operations from pre-show preparations to day-of-show execution for concerts and events. This role serves as the central point of communication between the Venue Production Manager, touring, client, and/or rental vendor team ensuring that technical and logistical execution aligns. The Stage manager oversees all stage activity and ensures smooth load-in/outs, efficient communication, and on-time performances.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for communicating the details of the event to the venue production crew and all relevant in-house departments.
• Manages members of the Venue production team and stagehands.
• Ensures that the tour(s) and client(s) have required items from venue needed to execute show(s) and event(s).
• Supervises the load-in and load out of band and rental equipment
• Responsible for documenting accident, incident, and disciplinary issues for the production crew and reports actions back to Production Manager
• Production Manager may have Stage Manager execute settlements per contract with artists post show
