Staffing Supervisor - Home Health

Stella Maris is proud to provide central Maryland with compassionate, home health services for adults. Our personal care team provides services that enable the patient to receive nursing aide supports in the comfort of their home. Stella Maris is looking for a Staffing Supervisor to join the Personal Care team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside dedicated nursing assistants, to meet the needs of clients in the community we serve.

Schedule

Full Time, 8a-430p

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Director, the Staffing Supervisor will be the point person for all staffing resources in the Personal Care Department.
• Prepares daily staffing schedules and updates according to client needs, assuring appropriate staffing for the delivery of patient care.
• Accurately enters and maintains schedule and attendance records.
• Reviews electronic timesheets and actively participates in the payroll process.
• Receives call outs and enters data into the system.
• Procures supplemental personnel through contact with flex staff and agencies.
• Keeps Director informed of critical staffing situations.
• Actively works to resolve critical concerns rapidly.
• Maintains license information for agency personnel; addresses problems appropriately and in a timely manner.
• Participates in the biweekly payroll process to ensure limited use of overtime and agency.
• Assists with Marketing PCS program to assure goals are met.
• Assists with completion of performance appraisals for the aides.
• Assists with developing disciplinary actions and/or performance improvement plans.
• On-Call occasionally.
• Completes payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
• Other duties within scope of job functions as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Prior experience in home health strongly preferred

Pay

Min USD $24.05/Hr. Max USD $37.75/Hr.
