This role acts swiftly on short-notice staffing needs, coordinating and deploying staff to fill coverage gaps identified within 48 hours of a scheduled shift. Why UnityPoint Health? Responsibilities Manage daily staffing operations for designated departments, including cancellations, call-ins, floating, and open shiftsAdjust schedules to meet operational needs by securing additional staff or reducing coverage as neededRespond to sick calls and short-notice vacancies by recruiting available staff and allocating float/resource pool support within 48 hours of shift startMaintain accurate schedules and proficiency within the electronic staffing system, ensuring data integrityCommunicate urgent staffing needs to leadership and support departmental initiatives and assigned projects Qualifications Education: High School diploma/GED requiredPreferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience including data entry, multitasking, and problem solving.Preferred: Staffing and scheduling experience
