About the role

Cambrian Homecare, LLC provides in-home care services since 1996, focusing on compassionate, flexible, and personalized care for individuals of all ages. The role involves supporting critical weekend operations.

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling & Coverage Coordination: Manage caregiver schedules, fill open shifts, coordinate changes, and respond to call-offs or urgent staffing needs.
  • Caregiver & Client Support: Serve as the primary point of contact during weekend operations, providing updates, addressing concerns, and communicating scheduling and service changes.
  • Service Systems Support: Assist caregivers with visit verification, mobile app issues, scheduling questions, and documentation needs.
  • Incident Response & Escalation Management: Respond to service disruptions, caregiver or client concerns, safety issues, injuries, and unexpected situations.
  • Operational Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate scheduling records, document service changes, facilitate shift handoffs, and communicate critical updates to internal teams.

Qualifications

  • MUST HAVE:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Bilingual (Fluent English and Spanish).
    • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
    • Experience in phone-based, high-volume scheduling or customer service environments requiring real-time prioritization and response to urgent needs.
  • NICE TO HAVE:
    • Experience in home care, healthcare, staffing, or caregiver support environments.
    • Experience using MatrixCare or similar scheduling, workforce management, or care coordination systems.

Benefits

Compensation: $23.50 hourly fixed rate. Work Environment: On-site in Long Beach, CA. Team Culture: A collaborative and service-focused environment where teamwork, adaptability, and clear communication drive success. Weekend operations require independent decision-making, quick problem-solving, and the ability to step in and support caregivers, clients, and teammates with minimal immediate backup. Work Schedule: Saturday - Sunday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST. Retirement Plan: Employees may participate in a 401(k) retirement savings plan.
