Staffing Coordinator - Marshfield Float Pool - PRN

About the role

Must be self‑directed with a high level of accountability and minimal supervision. Primary responsibility is adjusting and maintaining staff work schedules while utilizing department staffing policies, negotiating staffing needs, and anticipating both immediate and future staffing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and maintain staff work schedules.
• Utilize each department’s staffing policy to determine appropriate levels of patient/resident care providers.
• Process scheduling requests and negotiate staffing needs with leaders and directors.
• Anticipate immediate and future staffing needs and resolve staffing problems by broadcasting to staff, utilizing PRN staff, or reallocating existing staff.
• Track, document, and report staffing data to directors for analysis.
• Communicate and negotiate effectively with employees, leads, and department directors.
• Maintain strong organization, self‑motivation, independence, and flexibility to adjust schedules as needed.
• Use computer applications for email, scheduling, and Excel.
• Manage multiple interruptions, work under stress, and coordinate with large interactive groups requesting scheduling changes.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary education or equivalent training in a health‑care or business‑related field (required).
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience working with people or handling staffing issues (desirable).

Pay

Salary Range: $18.00 – $25.50 per hour

Schedule

Shift: 8 Hours – Day Shifts
Job Schedule: PRN
Weekly Hours: Varies
