About the role
The Post Staffing Coordinator serves as a frontline customer service liaison between patients/clients, caregivers, and the Care Coordinator Supervisor. They ensure that caregivers are appropriately matched to patient/client needs, maintain consistent caregiver assignments, and validate caregiver documentation.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Agency's philosophy, purpose, mission, goals, and policies.
- Serves the needs of patients/clients and reports for work on time.
- Maintains an active employee list of available caregivers and schedules care according to the plan of care.
- Validates caregiver documentation, documents scheduling changes, and notifies managers of outstanding documentation.
- Contacts patients/clients to confirm satisfaction after a new caregiver's first visit and may make customer satisfaction calls.
- Hires caregivers by identifying recruitment needs, screening applicants, and conducting interviews.
- Works overtime when requested and attends meetings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of data entry, computer-related experience, or clerical and systems experience in a healthcare environment.
- Data entry ability with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Organizational, teaching, human resource, and management skills.
- Ability to work under time pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and quick learning of new software applications.
