Staffing Coordinator (CMT/CNA)

Key Responsibilities

• Cook up and develop employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts to meet facility standards and resident needs.
• Address last-minute staffing issues by finding coverage for call-outs and absences promptly.
• Serve as a liaison between staff and management, addressing any concerns regarding schedules, time-off requests, or shift changes.
• Ensure staffing levels meet state and federal requirements for long-term care facilities, supporting regulatory compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, overtime, and payroll data.
• Absorb clinical CMT/CNA duties as needed, contributing to a positive and safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in scheduling or staffing coordination within a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families.
