Staffing Coordinator CMA/CNA

Ranchwood Nursing Center in Yukon, OK is seeking a Staffing Coordinator CMA/CNA to serve as the primary contact for all staffing functions at the facility. In this role you will schedule and coordinate staffing to ensure accurate and adequate clinical coverage, work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, and support the center’s mission to provide superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services for patients and residents.

Responsibilities

• Staffing for all nursing personnel (RN, LVN, CMA, CNAs)
• Process applications for all positions
• Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified applicants/candidates
• Complete new‑hire reference checks, license/certification verifications
• Review staffing routinely and adjust based on census
• Conduct the clinical portion of new‑hire orientation
• Conduct drug testing of all new hires
• Maintain attendance records, including excused/unexcused absences
• Set up, track, and log attendance for all state‑mandated in‑services and additional in‑services required by the Administrator and DON
• Coordinate annual proficiency testing for Certified Nurse Aides
• May participate in assessment and evaluation of nursing staff
• Maintain copies and track nurse and nurse aide licenses
• Track, audit, and administer TB tests, flu shots, etc., for residents and employees

Requirements

• Current, valid licensure as a CNA or CMA
• Previous experience in a nursing home or home‑health setting providing care to geriatric‑age patients
• Previous scheduling experience required; UKG experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal skills
