Responsibilities
- Support traffic engineering tasks under the guidance of project managers and senior engineers
- Assist with traffic studies, including traffic impact analyses, intersection operations, and corridor evaluations
- Perform basic traffic analysis (e.g., level of service, capacity, and queuing) using standard tools
- Help develop traffic control plans, including signage, striping, and signal layouts
- Contribute to preparation of construction documents for roadway and transportation projects
- Assist with traffic signal timing and operational improvements
- Coordinate with team members and support communication with clients and agencies
- Utilize tools such as Synchro, HCS, and Autodesk Civil 3D
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (transportation/traffic focus preferred)
- Basic knowledge of traffic engineering principles and analysis methods
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or coursework in traffic/transportation engineering
- Familiarity with Synchro, HCS, or similar tools
- Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
- EIT certification or ability to obtain within one year

Pay
Annual expected pay range: $75,000 USD - $90,000 USD
