Staff Therapist (LMSW)

About the role

ACNY is a group private practice focused on providing competent, quality, and accessible therapy in New York state. We are currently accepting applications for Master's level psychotherapists licensed in New York.

Responsibilities

• Provides standardized individual, relationship, and group psychotherapy to clients to promote optimum mental health
• Works to address a variety of emotional and social needs of clients
• Works under the general direction of a Senior Therapist or Supervisor
• Available to see clients on at least one weekend day, early mornings, and evenings
• Exhibits at least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy
• Exhibits at least 1 year of experience in providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy
• Maintains case notes, logs, and all required documentation within 24 hours of sessions held
• Participates in weekly clinical supervision
• Case management services including care coordination, collaborating with referral sources, and connecting clients to care
• Engages in 10-15 minute phone consultations when requested
• Participates in marketing efforts to co-create a caseload that reflects professional goals

Requirements

• Provisionally licensed and possess an LMSW licensed in New York
• Demonstrated success providing therapy to your niche
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Able to be available to see clients on at least one weekend day, early mornings, and evenings
• Exhibits at least 1 year of experience in assessment, treatment planning, and providing psychotherapy
• Exhibits at least 1 year of experience in providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy
• Organized and able to submit progress notes and respond to emails in a timely manner, and in accordance to ACNY policies

Caseload

We understand that building a caseload takes time and effort. We support you in co-building your caseload and provide education and support in understanding and learning how to market your practice.

Compensation

• 40% of fees collected per session
• Sick Pay (1 hour/session for every 30 hours/sessions worked)
• Malpractice Coverage
