This position supports the ArcID MEPCOM program. Candidates must be U.S. citizens residing in the United States and successfully complete a background investigation to be eligible to work on the program.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, definition, promotion, and integration of quality assurance best practices and standards across product lifecycle phases, including PI Planning and organizational infrastructure.
  • Define, plan, develop, acquire, deploy, and execute quality assurance processes, methods, test automation tools, metrics, and procedures that support the delivery of defect-free products and services.
  • Perform problem determination and defect tracking using tools such as TestRail.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions and frameworks.
  • Define and monitor quality assurance metrics, including defect and open bug tracking.
  • Plan and track quality assurance projects while providing regular status updates to leadership.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training across quality assurance disciplines.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Analyze requirements and functional specifications to develop quality assurance plans, test cases, test scripts, scenarios, use cases, and test environments.
  • Perform technical risk assessments and predictive analysis using quality metrics and data-driven insights.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and quality assurance best practices.
  • Support the delivery of secure, reliable, and high-quality biometric identity solutions for critical U.S. government programs.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and processes used to deliver high-quality, defect-free products and services.
  • Hands-on software testing experience, including working with test tools, defect reporting, and defect tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, internet technologies, and software testing best practices.
  • Experience translating business and technical requirements into quality assurance plans, test cases, test scripts, test scenarios, use cases, and test environments.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software defects using analytical methods and testing tools throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Experience defining and applying quality metrics, building quality models, conducting predictive analysis, and performing technical risk assessments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively within cross-functional team environments.
  • Experience providing technical guidance, mentoring, and training to team members.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment under general supervision.
  • Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent work experience; at least five years of industry experience, including a minimum of three years working within a quality assurance organization is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies, processes, and metrics is preferred.
