About the role

Form Energy is hiring a Staff Technical Recruiter to serve as a strategic talent partner for our world-class Engineering organization. You will be at the forefront of our growth, navigating the talent landscape of the energy industry to find the experts needed to help scale our pioneering multi-day storage systems. We are seeking a domain expert in hardware who can act as a recruiting partner to our leadership and help scale the teams responsible for mechanical, electrical, and product innovation. This is a high-impact opportunity to join a high-performing TA team and play a pivotal role at a pivotal time in Form Energy's journey to transform America's electric grid.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple, complex searches for niche engineering roles, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initial research and market mapping to complex offer negotiations and closing.
  • Meet regularly with hiring managers and leadership to deeply understand technical requirements, team dynamics, and the critical success factors for our hardware mission.
  • Design and execute advanced, data-driven sourcing strategies to engage both active and passive candidates, ensuring a robust pipeline of top-tier mechanical and hardware talent.
  • Collaborate across all levels of the organization to drive a structured, disciplined, and measured hiring process that maintains a high bar for talent and ensures an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on the hardware talent market, using industry benchmarks and recruiting data to influence hiring decisions and align stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement non-traditional ways to build talent pools through customized outreach, specialized networking, and engineering-centric community engagement.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with a minimum of 3+ years specifically dedicated to Mechanical or Hardware Engineering.
  • A deep understanding of the lifecycle of physical products—from initial R&D and rapid prototyping to Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and complex supply chain integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders through the use of recruiting metrics, data integrity, and a partnership-first mindset.
  • A strong track record of recruiting for Mechanical, Electrical, or Physical Science roles within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Operate within a lean, high-leverage team where you will seamlessly pivot between high-level talent strategy and hands-on execution across diverse technical work streams.
  • You are a power-user of modern recruiting tools (we use LinkedIn Recruiter and Ashby).
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to articulate Form Energy's mission to high-level technical talent while managing complex stakeholder relationships across multiple searches.
  • Operate as a deeply integrated partner within a cohesive, high-trust team that believes the best hiring outcomes stem from active listening and mutual support; we win together by remaining agile and adapting our strategies.
