About the role

Staff TPMs at Databricks lead complex, high-visibility programs that define how the company executes at scale. This role partners across engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to bring foundational capabilities to market globally.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery of complex, cross-functional programs from initial scoping through launch and adoption
  • Align senior stakeholders and build operating models that scale execution across the company
  • Partner with field teams, solutions architects, and customer success to drive successful launches
  • Identify areas of organizational inefficiency, design scalable processes, and drive adoption across teams
  • Communicate with senior leadership and provide clear updates, highlighting risks and enabling informed decision-making
  • Define success metrics upfront and track progress rigorously using data to guide decisions and demonstrate impact

Requirements

  • 10+ years leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in enterprise software or B2B technology
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end product launches across multiple geographies and functions
  • Demonstrated ability to bring structure to ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Experience influencing roadmap and prioritization, not just delivery
  • Credibility with both engineers and executives; strong communication skills with VP and C-level stakeholders
  • Track record of building scalable processes and operating models
  • Strong instincts for risk management, escalation, and stakeholder alignment
  • Experience defining and tracking success metrics; familiarity with SQL or dashboards is a plus
  • Experience operating with high autonomy and ownership in ambiguous, high-stakes environments

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a technical field
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Background in data platforms, governance systems, or developer-facing products
  • Familiarity with Databricks or similar large-scale data ecosystems
  • Experience scaling both 0→1 programs and mature systems

Pay

The pay range for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on these factors, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
