About the role
Visa Corporate IT is transforming into a true engineering organization focused on customer experience and end-user support. As part of this strategy, we are consolidating operational functions into a single area dedicated to providing world-class support. Additionally, we are adopting a DevOps mindset to deliver projects and solutions more efficiently. This role, within the Work Place Technology team, is responsible for delivering the best possible solutions in Email and Messaging technologies. You will work with a dynamic global team to ensure Visa remains a leader in end-user technology and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Perform engineering and 3rd-level support, including architecting and engineering Email & Messaging technologies.
- Maintain excellent technical knowledge of Exchange Online, Microsoft Exchange, email gateways, and email security solutions (physical and SAAS).
- Manage O365, hybrid deployments, compliance, and security policies in Email/Messaging environments.
- Oversee email archiving solutions and provide L3 technical support for Email/Messaging automation tools.
- Collaborate with the Information Security Office to ensure deployed solutions meet Visa’s security requirements, assist in security alert investigations, and maintain system security.
- Provide technical consultancy to operations, engineering teams, and end users to resolve problems efficiently.
- Document technical solutions and communicate with all relevant departments to address outages, service disruptions, or customer complaints.
- Develop creative engineering solutions and think outside the box.
- Interface with customers to gather requirements or communicate designs.
- Develop automation and self-service mechanisms to reduce friction and ensure secure, efficient data transfer between internal and external systems.
- Monitor performance, implement alerting, and proactively resolve errors through automation.
- Perform related duties as needed, including after-hours 3rd-level support.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years with a PhD, or 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, email gateways, email security devices, and SAAS solutions for email security.
- Equivalent education, such as an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technology field.
- High competence in O365, Microsoft Exchange, email security gateways, appliances, and SAAS solutions for email security.
- Strong understanding of email flow, high availability, disaster recovery, and messaging technologies like archiving solutions.
- Knowledge of implementing email security policies.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills, with effective oral and written communication.
- Experience leading technology deployments on cross-regional projects, including planning, documentation, and implementation.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, cybersecurity, business users, and external financial institutions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience with network infrastructure and security principles.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude toward working in a team environment.
Microsoft and/or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Pay
The estimated salary range for this position is $131,600.00 to $210,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments. Salary varies based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

Schedule
