Staff Software Engineer, Simulation

Responsibilities

• Arcitect and implement large-scale test infrastructure and evaluation pipelines for autonomous vehicle software validation
• Lead collaborative initiatives with various teams to integrate testing operations into development workflows
• Develop and implement methods to quantify the trustworthiness of simulation tests at scale
• Drive strategic priorities and technical roadmaps to adopt new simulation technologies
• Own the definition and refinement of simulation evaluation metrics and present insights to stakeholders
• Maintain high technical standards through design and code reviews, establishing best practices for the team

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in developing complex evaluation, simulation, or test frameworks
• Proficient in Python for production systems with a focus on testing and reliability best practices
• Prominent track record of technical leadership across multiple teams influencing strategies and decisions
• Strong communication skills for effective risk management and stakeholder collaboration
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
