Job Summary

Credit Acceptance is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Southfield, MI. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and innovative environment.

About the Role

The Staff Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions, improving existing codebases, evolving and transforming software architectures, and leading code reviews and continuous learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions

• Author team coding, documenting, and testing standards
• Conduct impact analysis
• Lead code reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field
• Five years of progressive experience with software engineering
• Experience must include writing and configuring code, creating strategic technical designs, providing direction in design sessions and code reviews, creating system-level code specifications, identifying and analyzing complex technical issues, SOAP UI, JUnit, RESTful services

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$70,000 - $90,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
