Staff Software Engineer, IDM Engineering

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Identity Management (IDM) Engineering team. This role leads work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, collaborating across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, Java-based identity management products
• Collaborate with a distributed team across various locations
• Analyze and elaborate on requirements to enhance the identity platform
• Plan and manage development tasks efficiently
• Facilitate successful cloud deployments
• Work with support teams to resolve customer issues

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience designing and developing large-scale Java applications
• Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with AI agents for functionality implementation
• Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex features

Pay

$132,000 – $165,000 annually
