STAFF RN III-LEAD

About the role

Northside Hospital Gwinnett (Lawrenceville) is seeking Staff RN III, Staff RN Lead, or Clinical Supervisor positions for the Emergency Department (ED).

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the nursing division, to include the Northside Nursing Collaborative Care Model.
• Reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment in all nursing practices.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia, in good standing and without limitations.
• Has a minimum of two years (2) years full-time experience as a registered professional nurse.
• Holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, an Associate Degree (AD) or a Diploma in Nursing.
• Preferred: BSN degree, Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN), additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.), or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Qualifications

• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Skills

• Knowledge of ANA's Scope and Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance.
• Ability to utilize evidence-based practice, nursing research, quality of practice, patient satisfaction scores, and external reporting/benchmarks.
