Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population.

Experience Required

  • Competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.

Education Required

  • A professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.

Education Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS).
  • Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM).

Department Specific Requirement

  • American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire.
