Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population.
Experience Required
- Competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
Education Required
- A professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
Education Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Licenses and Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS).
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM).
Department Specific Requirement
- American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire.
