Staff Radiation Therapist - Pewaukee - PRN As Needed

About the role

The UW Health Cancer Center at ProHealth Care is seeking a full-time, benefit eligible Staff Radiation Therapist. This role will join a team of experienced therapists and work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in localizing tumors
• Participates in treatment planning
• Delivers high doses of ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist
• Functions as a primary caregiver to patients
• Provides a link to other healthcare providers as needed

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy
• Radiation Therapist R.T.(T)(ARRT)
• Ability to work at multiple sites with flexibility in scheduling as needed
• Varian experience; true beam or vita beam experience
• Experience with Aria EMR (Varian product) highly desirable

Schedule

PRN position, Primary work location is Pewaukee, with occasional travel to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital (OMH) and Mukwonago Memorial Hospital (DNG) as needed. Hours are scheduled on an as-needed basis, with treatment coverage opportunities available Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No weekend, holiday, or on-call coverage is required.
