About the role
Radiation Therapist responsible for delivering prescribed therapeutic radiation doses safely and accurately to patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily imaging
- Set up clinical treatments
- Monitor patient safety
- Document care in treatment records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
- Develop an understanding of patients' physical and emotional needs, reporting relevant information to the care team
- Accommodate diverse patient populations
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiation therapy program
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Licensure if applicable by state regulations

- Technical proficiency with radiation therapy equipment
