Staff Project Manager

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide project management support for Engineering Change and Modernization Projects (ECMP).
• Coverage project activities across engineering, manufacturing, safety, construction, and technical teams.
• Sustain project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and maintain project schedules, action item trackers, milestone reports, and status updates.
• Monitor project progress and assist in identifying and resolving schedule, technical, and resource challenges.
• Coverage meetings, technical reviews, design reviews, project briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
• Track project deliverables and ensure timely completion of project objectives.
• Support risk identification, issue management, and mitigation planning activities.
• Aid in project documentation, technical reports, meeting minutes, and project records management.
• Coverage communication between government stakeholders, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Support engineering and manufacturing modernization initiatives through project planning and execution support.
• Monitor project performance and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and project outcomes.
• Aid in resource planning and coordination to support project requirements.
• Support development and maintenance of project management documentation and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable customer requirements, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance (Must have interim clearance before start date)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of project or program management experience supporting technical, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or defense programs
• Experience supporting project planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution activities
• Experience developing project reports, schedules, status updates, and tracking documentation
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
