Staff Product Manager - 120M Series A - Multi-City + Remote

About the role

The client is a long-standing, financially stable, publicly traded company in Roanoke, VA. They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting team. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this onsite position offers exposure to SEC reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and accounting operations
• Partner directly with the President and controller on the accounting close
• Serve as a key contributor to the organization's growth and success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with financial systems and software
• Knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations
