Staff Product Designer, Flights

About the role

Partner across disciplines to define and deliver features that meet real user needs.
Model AI-native ways of working for the Flights team, showing what's possible, not just talking about it.
Turn complex ideas into clear, simple flows.
Design for the best outcomes.
Build trust and collaboration with product, engineering, and design peers while raising the quality bar across the org.
Lead design reviews, refine how we gather feedback and make decisions.
Continuously push fellow designers to sharpen their craft and clarity.

Requirements

Mastery of the full product development process—from product planning and discovery to concepts, build-ready designs, prototypes.
Already ahead of the AI curve. Builds prototypes in code, integrates AI into the design workflow as a daily operating tool, not a side project.
Proven experience managing stakeholders in partnership with PMs, engineers, data, and executives.
Designs patterns, templates, and components that enable PMs and EMs to ship paper cuts independently.
Clear communication and storytelling skills—you can explain not just what you designed, but why.

Skills

The ideal candidate is an exceptional designer with a deep understanding of user experience and a passion for creating intuitive, scalable, and beautiful products.
Experience with AI and machine learning is a plus, but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $155,000—$215,000 USD
