Staff Platform Engineer

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve platform services, infrastructure, and internal tools for the company’s products
• Own and manage complex technical systems from inception to implementation with a focus on scalability and reliability
• Implement best-in-class observability, monitoring, and alerting across the company’s systems
• Enhance AI tools to improve system accessibility and ease of contribution
• Drive CI coverage improvements for enhanced correctness and AI verifiability
• Collaborate with product teams to accelerate the build and deployment of critical products
• Develop and deliver high-quality, reliable software using AI and modern development tools

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience building large-scale backend or platform systems
• Proficient in JVM languages like Kotlin or Java
• Experience in designing and operating distributed systems and modern cloud infrastructure
• Strong grasp of platform engineering principles, developer tooling, CI/CD, and observability
• Track record of owning complex technical problems and delivering scalable solutions
• Ability to make independent technical decisions regarding reliability, scalability, and maintainability
• Experience with AI tools to enhance engineering quality and efficiency
• Interest in Web3, digital ownership, AI, or emerging technologies

Pay

$190,000 – $345,000 annually
