Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional outpatient-focused care for patients with thoracic malignancies within a multidisciplinary oncology practice
- Collaborate closely with thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology, pulmonology, and supportive care teams to deliver integrated patient-centered care
- Participate in select inpatient clinical responsibilities as part of a collaborative oncology care model
- Contribute to the advancement of thoracic oncology through participation in clinical trials and translational research initiatives
- Engage in multidisciplinary tumor boards, case conferences, and collaborative treatment planning
- Support academic and educational initiatives through mentorship, teaching, and scholarly collaboration
- Contribute to programmatic growth, innovation, and the continued expansion of thoracic oncology services
- Foster an environment of collaboration, compassion, scientific rigor, and excellence aligned with High Reliability Organization principles
Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree with board eligibility or certification in Medical Oncology or a related specialty
- A strong clinical interest and expertise in thoracic oncology and multidisciplinary cancer care
- A collaborative and academically engaged approach to patient care, research, and program development
- Interest in clinical trials, translational research, and advancing innovative treatment strategies for thoracic malignancies
- A commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered oncology care
- Executive presence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- A passion for mentorship, education, and contributing to the development of future oncology leaders
