About the role
The Department of Radiology at the Penn State University College of Medicine is seeking a full-time subspecialty trained candidate in the Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging.
Responsibilities
- Interpreting chest imaging studies, including plain film, CT, and MRI
- Interpreting cardiac imaging studies, including Cardiac MRI and CT Angiography
- Procedural skills are considered an asset, although not a requirement for this position
Requirements
- Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited residency program
- Eligible or currently licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
- Society of Cardiac Computed Tomography level 2 certification (or higher) for coronary CTA (cCTA) interpretation
Qualifications
- A passion for teaching is essential
- Opportunity for innovative clinical research through collaboration with an interdisciplinary lung cancer screening program and the Division of Radiology Innovation and Value Enhancement (DRIVE)
- The Department supports an education curriculum specialist to mentor faculty in teaching and develop scholarship in radiology education
