About the role

The Department of Radiology at the Penn State University College of Medicine is seeking a full-time subspecialty trained candidate in the Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Interpreting chest imaging studies, including plain film, CT, and MRI
  • Interpreting cardiac imaging studies, including Cardiac MRI and CT Angiography
  • Procedural skills are considered an asset, although not a requirement for this position

Requirements

  • Medical degree - M.D., D.O. or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited residency program
  • Eligible or currently licensed for the practice of medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Society of Cardiac Computed Tomography level 2 certification (or higher) for coronary CTA (cCTA) interpretation

Qualifications

  • A passion for teaching is essential
  • Opportunity for innovative clinical research through collaboration with an interdisciplinary lung cancer screening program and the Division of Radiology Innovation and Value Enhancement (DRIVE)
  • The Department supports an education curriculum specialist to mentor faculty in teaching and develop scholarship in radiology education
