About the Role
A Staff Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, processing prescriptions, counseling patients, administering immunizations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role involves guiding pharmacy staff and fostering strong customer relationships to promote health and wellness within the community.
Responsibilities
- Dispense and process prescriptions accurately.
- Counsel customers on healthcare and medication needs.
- Administer immunizations and participate in community programs.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Lead and model excellent customer service for pharmacy staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, with a valid pharmacy license.
- Completion of an ACPE-Accredited Immunization training program.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care practices and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PHI).
- Strong relationship-building skills, adaptability, and community engagement enthusiasm.
