Staff Pharmacist - Full-Time

About the Role

The Staff Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care, accurately dispenses prescriptions, counsels patients on healthcare needs, administers immunizations, and supports community outreach efforts while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and process prescriptions with accuracy
• Counsel customers on medication and healthcare
• Administer immunizations and participate in health programs
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations
• Guide pharmacy staff on customer service practices
• Maintain a drug-free workplace and support the organization’s mission to provide quality care

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• Valid pharmacy license
• Completion of accredited immunization training
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and best practices
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to patient needs and medical concerns
• Commitment to regulatory compliance, including HIPAA guidelines
