Staff Pharmacist, Central Fill - Health and Wellness Non-Store Operations

About the role

The position involves providing direction and guidance to pharmacy associates, maintaining and tracking medication inventory, performing visual verification of prescriptions, adapting to changing production demands, obtaining and renewing necessary pharmacist permits, registrations, licenses, and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and guidance to pharmacy associates, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain and track medication inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation and shrinkage control.
• Perform visual verification of prescriptions for clinical and legal accuracy.
• Adapt to changing production demands while maintaining high quality standards.
• Obtain and renew necessary pharmacist permits, registrations, licenses, and training.

Requirements

• Valid pharmacist license in state of employment and ability to obtain multiple state permits/registrations.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws and regulations.
• Experience in inventory management and prescription verification.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, automated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency (National Association of Boards of Pharmacy).
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in state of practice.

Skills

• Using and maintaining automated medication counting machines.
• Working as a licensed pharmacist in a hospital.
• Working as a licensed pharmacist in a retail environment.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $150,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Schedule

Shifts Available: 1st / Hours - 6am - 6pm 2nd / Hours - 3pm - 3am 3rd / Hours - 9pm - 9am Flexibility to work - Sunday - Saturday
