Position Summary
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized pharmacy focusing on processing and dispensing prescriptions for multiple retail locations. We are seeking Non-Certified Pharmacy Technicians to support operations at our new Central Fill Pharmacy in Republic, MO.
What you'll do...
- Maintains and tracks medication inventory by sorting, placing, and storing freight, restocking, and replenishing medication, reporting low stock levels, ensuring stock rotation, and monitoring prescription inventory for expiration.
- Aids in facility operations by supporting with reporting and paperwork, ensuring productivity and pharmaceutical integrity, entering and modifying pharmaceutical data, processing and submitting paperwork, creating and maintaining documentation, and completing maintenance and security of paperwork, forms, and other required documents.
- Promotes and maintains the pharmacy professional reputation by assisting pharmacists in prescription fulfillment, stocking and rotating merchandise and supplies, handling claims and returns, completing maintenance and securing paperwork, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Maintains quality accuracy and integrity of inventory by utilizing automated inventory control scanners and systems, tracking and ensuring timely and appropriate delivery and stocking of pharmaceuticals, and managing pill cell information databases.
- Maintains pharmacy systems and technology by preparing informational and related records and reports, monitoring inventory levels and expiration dates, calibrating machines, applying settings to pill or capsule specifications, and troubleshooting pill cell issues.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
- Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, and carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Salary
The starting salary is $20.50/Hr. with a $2.00/Hr. differential for the 2nd shift.
Schedule/Availability
- 4-day workweek consisting of four 10-hour shifts.
- Sunday availability is required.
- Schedules are assigned based on business and production needs and may vary.
Minimum qualifications
- Must meet all Missouri state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including being at least 18 years old and holding an active state Pharmacy Technician license issued by the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy.

- Hourly wage range for this position is $20.50 - $33.50.
