Staff Nurse MedSurg 9 Quarterback
Full-time, Day Shift (7a-7p), 3 shifts per week, Monday-Sunday.
About the role
The staff nurse is a professional nurse who, with minimal supervision, is responsible for providing nursing care to patients. Patient care includes assessment, interventions, and reassessments of the patient. The nurse is also responsible for planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating care of patients and caregivers.
9 Quarterback is an 18-bed unit that provides nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative pediatric patients ages birth to young adults. This range in age creates a unit which offers exposure to great diversity in terms of age and developmental stages of patients, as well as diversity in surgical diagnosis and procedures. It is a challenging backdrop for experienced nurses, as well as for new graduates seeking to develop a strong and varied knowledge base in pediatric surgical nursing.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Alabama (Single State or NLC Multi State)
- Current BLS certification

12-hour shifts (7a-7p), 3 shifts per week, Monday-Sunday, Day Shift.
