Staff Nurse - LPN - 12 hour Day

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This position offers a starting wage of $27.00 per hour, with shift differentials up to $3/hr for evening and $2/hr for night shifts. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist with formulating and updating individualized resident care plans.
• Provide nursing care to residents according to physician orders and regulations.
• Observe, document, and report resident conditions and care given using the EMR accurately.
• Ensure physicians are notified and orders are processed promptly.
• Respond to resident call lights and communicate resident conditions to families.
• Direct and assist with resident and family/significant other education.
• Handle linens properly and dispose of soiled items in adherence to regulations.
• Use standard precautions, including personal protective equipment and hand hygiene, to prevent infection transmission.
• Report and follow up on signs or symptoms of resident infections.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensure for the state of practice is required.
• Knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of medications administered.
• Prior work experience in a similar or related position may be helpful.
