Staff Nurse - IRL Procedure Suite (100%)
About the role
The Iowa River Landing Clinic is seeking a 100% Staff Nurse in their IRL Procedure Suite. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing patients' nursing care needs, developing care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, evaluating care quality, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Apply nursing theory to assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patient responses.
- Develop patient care plans based on observations and assessments and recommend interventions to achieve expected outcomes.
- Collaborate and integrate information from patients and families into multidisciplinary patient care plans and evaluate responses.
- Evaluate the quality of nursing care provided by other staff members.
- Provide care for patients and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
- Serve as a patient advocate.
Requirements
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa by the date of hire.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- General computer skills.
- Must have current ACLS certification or obtain by agreed start date.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working in a procedural setting.
- Experience working with EPIC.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or Masters Degree in Nursing is highly desired; if Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is not yet obtained, active enrollment in a BSN program is desirable.

Education & Certification Requirements
- An Associate’s degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, or Master’s degree in Nursing (MNHP or MSN) is required.
- A current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required by the date of hire.
