About the role
The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care grounded in biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using a family-centered approach.
- Address physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs across all age groups.
- Perform leadership duties, deliver patient-centered care, and participate in quality improvement, safety, and evidence-based practices.
- Support staff education, mentorship, and collaboration with providers to ensure efficient, high-quality, and compassionate care.
- Engage in systems-based practice, informatics, and adapt to various clinical areas as needed.
Technical Skills
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic medical records (preferred).
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or completion within 5 years.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
- Valid Ohio RN license (Multistate License required within 90 days for certain roles).
- At least one year of relevant healthcare experience (preferred).
Onsite role, part-time (24 hours/week), primarily weekdays during daytime hours.
