About the role

The Staff Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. The role involves creating a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning, and implementing effective care plans while communicating with patients and their families. You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in acute or clinic settings, make sound decisions in response to changes in patient condition, and utilize the Electronic Health Record to document care. Effective coordination with physicians and team members regarding patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results is essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement effective plans of care for patients.
• Coordinate care across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient outcomes.
• Make sound decisions in response to changes in patient condition or treatment.
• Document patient care using the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Communicate effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic test results.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of current Emergency Department (ED) experience.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required.
• Current NJ RN License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) preferred.

Pay

The minimum rate for this position is $48.13 per hour. The final rate of pay will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. This rate does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
