Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Day

Position Overview Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department with evening hours, located in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role involves working 36 hours per week, primarily from 9am to 9pm, including every third weekend. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and gather health data from patients, families, and healthcare team members.Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing.Individualize patient and family education based on assessed needs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice standards.Maintain current knowledge of nursing laws, standards, and best practices. Qualifications & Skills Successful completion of an Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois nursing license.CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
