The Staff Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing effective care plans, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and communicating with patients and their families to ensure a positive care experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning, and implementing effective plans of care.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in acute or clinic settings.
  • Make sound decisions in response to changes in patient condition or treatment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • Utilize the Electronic Health Record to document patient care.
  • Effectively coordinate with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, diagnostic test results, and critical test values.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of ICU and/or 5 years of ED experience required.
  • RRT experience preferred.
  • BSN required.

Qualifications

  • Current NJ RN License.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • PALS preferred.
  • CEN or CCRN preferred.

Pay

The rate of pay for this position starts at a minimum of $59.30 per hour, determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. This minimum rate does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
