Staff Nurse - CMH

About the role

Provide nursing care within an acute or ambulatory setting, ensuring patient safety and delivering quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, certification, and institutional protocols.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSc in Nursing preferred.
• Current NYS RN license or valid NYS Limited Permit to practice as a GN.
• Clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are advantageous.
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills are essential.
