Staff Nurse

Job Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.
• Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management.
• Administer medications safely according to United Health Services policy.
• Ensure productivity and effective resource utilization.
• Comply with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the Nursing Shared Governance Model and improvement initiatives.
• Engage in professional development and complete mandatory education.
• Integrate nursing research and current evidence into practice.
• Provide a supportive learning environment for new employees and students.

Required Skills & Experience

• Nursing (RN) experience: 6 months - 3 years.
• Management experience: 0 - 3 years.
• 5+ years of direct experience.
• Collaboration, communication, judgment, critical thinking, organizational understanding, planning, problem-solving, quality, reliability, safety, and risk management.
