Job Overview
The Newcastle Hospitals and Community Services Staff Bank provide temporary staff to various wards and departments across the Trust. Main Duties
- Provide effective and efficient support to various departments throughout the Trust as required, ensuring that a high quality of patient care is delivered.
Person specification
- Qualifications: Registered Nurse (appropriate to branch), NMC registration, Diploma/Degree in Nursing (completed or willingness to undertake) or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge: Evidence of achievements and career development in current post and of on-going professional development, awareness of current relevant NHS policy context, understanding / experience of adult / child safeguarding.
- Skills: Basic IT skills, relevant clinical skills relating to the specialty e.g. cannulation, IV drug administration, relevant and recent clinical experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in speciality.
