Staff Nurse

About the Role

The Staff Nurse provides specialized nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient-centered care for individuals or groups within their scope of practice, addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs across all ages and developmental stages.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient-centered care for individuals or groups.
• Address physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs across all ages and developmental stages.
• Demonstrate leadership, mentorship, and professional duties, including staff education, precepting, and quality improvement.
• Support collaborative teamwork with providers to ensure efficient, high-quality pediatric care and excellent customer service.
• Utilize informatics, technology, and evidence-based practices.
• Perform systems-based duties.
• Flexibility to be assigned to different areas as needed; other duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or obtained within 5 years.
• RN licensure in Ohio.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC) and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and commitment to quality patient care.
