Staff Nurse: 7Medical

Responsibilities

• Affirms the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of the patients served.
• Provides leadership and professional duties.
• Performs patient-centered care duties.
• Participates in quality improvement and safety duties.
• Develops and educates staff members on clinically related issues.
• May be responsible for precepting new employees and mentoring clinical staff.
• Supports provider staff and collaborates for efficient operations and quality care.
• Ensures efficient operation and quality care for pediatric patients using a team approach.
• Supports evidence-based practice and performs systems-based practice duties.
• Performs informatics and technology duties.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to other staff members.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure to prioritize and complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Experience working with various levels within an organization.
• Experience in healthcare.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software.
• Experience using an electronic medical record system (i.e. EPIC) or similar software.
